Zygopetalum is an orchid found in tropical South America and related to other genera. As far as growth conditions, they grow well in partial shade and humid conditions. They are a fantastic spectacle and are very fragrant.

This is the Bearded Iris or Iris Germanica. This plant grows up to 47 inches high and 12 inches wide. This plant's flower blooms mid to late spring and has hundreds of cultivars.

The delphinium plant not only has a blue shade but can blossom robust violet and purple flowers as well. This flowering plant grows well in cool or mid-summer temperatures(not in humidity).
